Some teachings need more space than a short post or video can offer.
Through these e-books, I share the experiences, knowledge and spiritual lessons that have shaped my own path. You can read them at your own pace, return to them whenever you need to and take from them what speaks to you.
This is not about following someone else’s journey exactly. It is about discovering what opens up within your own.
What if herbs are more than ingredients, remedies or tools?
In this e-book, you’ll be introduced to herbs as living beings, each with their own energy, purpose and wisdom.
Through my personal journey and ancestral guidance, you’ll discover how stillness, patience and intention can help you build a deeper connection with the plant world.

Every chapter was like a beautifully written love letter including the herbs she didn’t connect with. I definitely enjoyed each story.
This book is for those who enjoy knowledge about herbs, want to make a positive change in their life, and or want insight on spiritual experiences. Ms. Mitton creates a straightforward approach to her experiences and gatherings of working with herbs. Each herb is outlined and provides meaningful insights on how to better your life, if needed. Besides this, the narrative accounts of spiritual experiences in Ms. Mitton’s life were interesting and engaging. It is a unique book that I undoubtedly recommend.
What I loved the most was the personal aspects that Gogo has written alongside the information on the herbs. Read it all in one go. It gave me many answers, and I now know why this did not work for me in the past. I used to be very flippant with my use of herbs. I realise, through reading Gogo Isobel’s book, that I need to be more respectful, take a step back, and wait to be chosen, so to speak. What I also appreciated as I am not working currently, most of the herbs I already have at home, or I can buy very cheaply in the shops lol. The more expensive herbs I can always get later, but there are so many options. Gogo you and your ancestors in particular, Grandma Ntombizodiwa. You did a number on this one. What I am pissed off about the most is that it took me years to work with you again, and for that I am angry at myself, as when I had it good, I should have taken you a bit more seriously. I will take you more seriously from now on. Cornelia xx
I loved it! It was soo well written, I felt like I was gettin’ some tea. It was funny at times, and other times there was a little plot twist/realization, but it also brings you to look at herbs from a different perspective, like we should have more compassion in the way we use herbs. It flows very nicely from chapter to chapter as well.
I was so shocked by their own personalities. Even though they’re herbs, we can learn a lot from them and the way they handle things. Like how Cinnamon showed compassion by giving us a gift even though she doesn’t like to be used at all; she felt touched. Like honestly, I feel like I have learned more just by their stories and who they are. Like, we should be taking notes.
As a matter of fact, I need to read it again. The golden nuggets in this book are priceless! Get this book while you can at this price. This book is priceless. For real!!!
I was the first to purchase this book and very excited to read it because I waited months to finally have a look at it. First impression was that this book is very easy to understand and get into it. Gogo Issey’s personality was shining through and I felt like I was back in class again. The storytelling was very engaging and unique because it was all part of her journey and I was taken on the same ride with her.
Reading about the big 12 I have learned to have more respect and build a better relationship with these herbs instead of me just chanting on them without any emotion and feelings involved. It made me realise that everything in this world is based on relationships and if we worked on bettering our relationship with everyone and everything around us life will be much better. Herbs are our friends and they deserve to be treated as such since they do so much for us. My favourite I think it’s garlic, since I am Eastern European that would make sense. However Ginger’s ability to restore your spine shocked the heck out of me. I will me using it more often not just for metaphysical purposes but also in cooking and everyday drinks. Overall I want to thank Gogo Issey for sharing her baby with us, I know how hard it was. She did an amazing work with the Big 12. And I hope she continues to write. Love Georgiana
